ABOUT Us

Aim Michigan is a 501(c)(3) non-profit sports organization established in 2012 and based in Michigan.

OUR MISSION

is to provide extraordinary athletic youth activities and programs enabling underprivileged children’s personal and professional success.

OUR VISION

is to continue fostering and assisting the development of children through soccer and other sports to promote and encourage social, civic, educational, and athletic activities.

Data shows that the rising cost of organized sports has created an economic divide in which kids from lower-income families are increasingly left out of organized sports and competitions. Our founders grew up in low-income families in Dearborn and strongly believe in the importance of organized sports in life and that they must be accessible and affordable to all children regardless of their economic status. Many families in Dearborn, Detroit, and Melvindale face economic challenges that prevent them from enrolling their children in organized sports programs. Aim Michigan steps in as a solution to help underprivileged and underserved children stay away from the streets and enroll in high-quality and affordable athletic programs (waived under certain conditions) enabling them personal and professional success.

At Aim Michigan we emphasize education through sports, our purpose is to promote and conduct skill-based youth development programs in a safe environment that empowers children, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, ability, or economic status. We create an environment for our youth that fosters growth, development, and success. Our efforts these past 10 years are starting to pay off directly for our organization and community: there are numerous examples of former youth participants in our programs who went on to finish college and are now giving back to our community. We want to continue to support Michigan youth on their journey to success.
